Booking Classes

SJ/9B can be booked in C, Y, J or B class. The service and booking classes of SJ/9B and SK are combinable as follows:

Auto Cancellation of Booking

• If booking not ticketed 24 hours before departure, the booking will be auto cancelled.

Discounts

• Children under 7 ride free if no seat is required.

GDS Availability Display

The image below is a typical GDS availability display example, between Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) and Sundsvall (XXZ).

PNR Booking

The image below is a PNR booked on the GDS by a travel agent or an airline ticketing officer (ATO).

SSR CTCE

When issuing on 9B/450 plate please use “ SSR CTCE” format at the booking time in order to communicate PAX email address to 9B so that 9B could send an email 72 hours to departure reminding passenger about compulsory check-in on accesrail.com.

Refunds

• Before departure: 15% penalty until 24 hrs to departure
• Within 24 hours to departure and after Departure: non refundable
• Requests for refunds must be initiated at the point of sale.
• For interline fares refunds will be applied according to fare rules.

Groups

• No group bookings allowed.

Check-in

Earliest 72 hours before train departure, the passenger will have to check-in at www.accesrail.com to print the SJ boarding pass, which includes their seat reservation.

Travel documents

At the time of purchase the travel agent issues the e-ticket and receives the SJ e-ticket pickup number via Special Service Request (SSR). To retrieve their actual travel document, passengers must check-in prior to boarding the train. The image below is the example of an SJ e-ticket.

Period of Validity

• Scheduled train departure time (indicated on the boarding pass).

Seat reservations

An assigned seat is included in the printed boarding pass after the passenger check-in.

Baggage policy

Travelers bring their own luggage on the train and must be able to handle their own luggage without assistance. Passengers may bring as much luggage with them as they can carry.

There are separate compartments for luggage at either end of the carriage. There is also space for hand luggage on the rack above your seat. Bags and other hand luggage should be stowed in the carriage without causing inconvenience to fellow passengers.

Airport Transfers

Passengers also receive information on transfer connections between the airport and Arlanda Central Station.

FAQ

What if the passenger misses their train connection?

In the event that the passenger misses their scheduled train departure time (indicated on the boarding pass), the passenger may exchange his/her ticket for another departure (subject to space availability) with no service charges. Passenger must go to SJ ticket counter to make this arrangement.
