SJ – Sweden
SJ is the largest train operator in Sweden prodiving 55% or all train services in Sweden. Its railway for passenger traffic extends from Narvik, in the north, to Copenhagen in the south, plus a night train to Berlin. Approximately 100,000 journeys take place on SJ services every day. SJ offers eco-friendly travel as it carries the ecolabel ‘Good Environmental Choice’, using 100 percent renewable electricity from hydropower and wind power sources to operate its trains in Sweden. The railway network extends to 11,900 km of operated track, including 2,700 km of double- and multi-track. Approximately 9,800 km of the tracks are electrified.
