Renfe
Renfe is a state-owned passenger and freight rail transport operator overseen by the Spanish Ministry of Development. Renfe provides safe passenger and freight transport services in Spain. Its services are based on quality, efficiency, profitability and innovation.
Renfe operates the AVE high speed trains, which can achieve speeds of up to 350 km/h, placing these trains among the fastest in the World. In addition to intercity transport, Renfe also operates commuter trains in eleven metropolitan areas, including popular cities such as Madrid and Barcelona.
